Non-symmetry calculations

Non-symmetrical and single-phase conditions are implemented using the method of symmetrical components (ІЕС 60909).

The following types of non-symmetry are implemented in DAKAR: transversal asymmetry, longitudinal asymmetry (open phase), and shunt reactors asymmetry (open phase).

Unlike most industrial programs for calculating short-circuit currents, DAKAR takes into account the actual electromotive force of power supplies based on steady state. This allows to obtain the actual rated short-circuit currents.
